In 2023, there were 4,516 reports of break and entry in Alberta, with July, August, and September having 451, 431, and 413 reports, respectively. To enhance security, they recommend installing alarm systems, ensuring proper lighting and camera coverage, and maintaining fences. Business owners are encouraged to report suspicious activity to the police or Crime Stoppers.
